Kia ora and welcome back to kura for 2026. We are a team of enthusiastic Year 3 learners with Mrs Danz.

Term 2 was packed with exciting learning, teamwork, and growth! We focused on developing our reading and writing skills through structured literacy.  In maths, we practiced new strategies for addition and subtraction up to 1000 and our times tables. We also focused on sportsmanship and our ROAR values during P.E. and other games. We ended the term by celebrating Puanga together. 

We started the year with a focus on swimming and art alongside reading, writing and maths. We also learnt about Glow, Go and Grow Food and how these foods help our brains and bodies. It was a great term getting to know each other, having fun and learning lots of new things.
