We worked hard to learn lots of new te reo Māori words and phrases use them everyday. We showed determination while training for the cross country and did our best on race day and presented another assembly with Room 2. It was another busy term full of learning and fun in Room 10.

We had lots of fun in Term 2. One of our units was safety. We learnt about many different ways that we can keep ourselves safe. We learnt about the important holiday of Puanga and had a special shared breakfast at Kura. We did an awesome job presenting assembly with Room 2 and had a visit from Harold. This was alongside all of the amazing learning that we have been doing in literacy and maths - we are growing our brains!

We are starting the year with a focus on swimming and art alongside reading, writing and maths. It will be a great term getting to know each other, having fun and learning lots of new things.
