Welcome to Room 11. We are 24 wonderful Year 3 & 4 students, and we are ready to embrace a fun-filled year of learning. Visit our page throughout the year to see what we are getting up to!
The colder weather is coming but we are not going to slow down! This term we look at 'How to keep safe'. We will be focussing on fire safety, road safety and safety around dogs. We continue our Maths - No Problem! journey starting with Multiplication and Division. Winter Sports are upon us so we will look at ball skills and teamwork. First up though, we look into the importance of ANZAC Day and create some ANZAC inspired artwork.
With the beautiful sunny weather it is only fitting we start the year with a big focus on swimming! Having lessons in our heated school pool. We will also delve into art, making some fantastic masterpieces, along with reading, writing and maths. It is going to be a fun term getting to know each other and learning wondrous things along the way!
Swimming!
We loved getting in the pool and improving our swimming skills.
Water Safety
We also had a chance to experience wearing life jackets, and learning how to keep safe in the water.
P.E.
Mattie came and taught us some Healthy Active Learning Skills. Our focus was TEAMWORK!
ART
Our big focus this term was art. We had so much fun making and creating wonderful masterpieces. Then we enjoyed inviting our families in and showing them all our hard work brought to life!
Cucumber Writing
Summer brings tasty fruit and vegetables. We had the chance to taste some fresh cucumber, some of us loved it . . . and others not so much!
