Room 14 

Crazy hair day at the end of Term 1.


We are feeding our school hens.  Some of them have started to molt. We collected only two eggs today.                        28/04/23

Welcome to Room 14 in 2023 

We are a fun and energetic group of 19, Year 1 students.    In Room 14 we have a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy. We are using the Better Start Literacy Approach to develop our phonological awareness and literacy skills.

Our teacher is Mrs Smith.

AT SCHOOL 2023

Term 2

We made poppies out of paper and pipe cleaners to commemorate ANZAC day.

Ipads

We are learning to log on and off our iPads.  

We are also exploring different apps and there functions. 

We use Seesaw to send work home to our parents.

Look at our cool repeating patterns made with different things in our classroom.

In class discovery time

Building relationships, problem solving, working together, sharing, turn taking and imagination is just some of the learning during discovery.

Term 1

Term 1 was a busy term filled with building relationships, art and swimming. Children made the most out of or lovely heated school pool swimming 3 times a week.
